[Tutorial] Deposit Assets into AIOZ Network from Cosmos Hub

AIOZ Network has quickly emerged as one of the world's most promising and innovative blockchain networks, offering unique features and benefits that have attracted a growing number of users and developers.

One of the key strengths of the AIOZ Network is its interoperability with other blockchains, which is facilitated by the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol. With IBC, users can transfer assets seamlessly between blockchains, including the Cosmos network.

The deposit and withdrawal of Cosmos assets are now accessible in the AIOZ Web Wallet. This tutorial will provide a step-by-step guide on depositing ATOM into the AIOZ Network using the IBC protocol via AIOZ Web Wallet.

How To Deposit ATOM from Cosmos Hub to AIOZ Network

Deposit using Wallet Extensions

To begin, you need to

1. Select "..." for the ATOM AIORC-20 asset
2. Click "Deposit / Withdraw IBC"  
3. Select "Deposit Cosmos IBC Asset" Tab

4.   Next, connect to your ATOM funding account in the Cosmos network. Currently, the AIOZ Network supports the Keplr wallet for this purpose. You can proceed to the next step once connected to your ATOM funding account.

Now, you need to enter the amount of ATOM that you want to deposit into the AIOZ Network. This can be done through your wallet, which should display the available balance of your ATOM funds. Make sure to double-check the amount before proceeding to the next step.

Finally, you need to confirm the IBC transaction and wait for completion. Depending on network traffic, the transaction should take between 30 seconds to 1 minute to complete.

Once the transaction is completed, you will receive a confirmation message in your wallet. Your ATOM funds should now be available in the AIOZ Network. You can use our explorer.aioz.network to view the transaction details and ensure a successful transfer.

Manual Deposit with IBC Transfer

You can also manually deposit ATOM to the AIOZ Network using an IBC transfer. To initiate the IBC transfer, you must have an AIOZ deposit address in Cosmos format and IBC channel information. Here's how you can do it:

• Click on the "Receive" button in your AIOZ wallet on the home screen.

• Select the network from which you want to deposit assets. For example, choose "Cosmos Hub" to deposit ATOM from the Cosmos Hub to AIOZ Network.

The AIOZ deposit address in Cosmos format and the IBC channel will be displayed. These details can be used to successfully initiate the IBC transfer and deposit your ATOM assets to the AIOZ Network.
