AIOZ Network Report: June 2026

AIOZ Network Report: June 2026

June marked an important milestone for AIOZ Network as AIOZ AI evolved into V2, alongside significant progress in AI research and model availability.

From platform enhancements and research initiatives to new challenges and models, the AIOZ AI ecosystem continued to expand its capabilities for builders, researchers, and developers.

This report highlights the key updates from June.

AIOZ AI V2

Over recent months, AIOZ AI has gradually evolved into V2, becoming a more complete platform for building, testing, and deploying AI on DePIN.

Developers can now connect applications directly to models running across AIOZ DePIN through APIs and SDKs, while AI Playgrounds provide a no-code environment for quickly exploring and testing models.

Challenge workflows have also been enhanced with broader evaluation metrics and smart-contract-based reward settlement.

AIOZ AI Research

AeroScene

The AIOZ AI Research team introduced "AeroScene: Transforming Aerial Robotics with Progressive 3D Scene Synthesis" at the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA 2026).

The research explores how AI-generated scenes can support drone simulation workflows by creating environments with navigable corridors, obstacles, and physically plausible object placement. By reducing reliance on manually constructed simulation environments, AeroScene improves the scalability and diversity of robotics research.

AffordMatcher

The AIOZ AI Research team published "AffordMatcher: Affordance Learning in 3D Scenes from Visual Signifiers" at the Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR 2026).

The research explores how AI systems can better understand the functional relationships between objects and their environments, enabling more effective reasoning about interactions within 3D spaces. Such capabilities are important for applications ranging from robotics and simulation to embodied AI systems.

AIOZ AI Challenges

The License Plate Recognition Challenge is now live on AIOZ AI as a featured challenge with AIOZ token rewards.

The challenge focuses on detect-and-read computer vision workflows, where participants build systems capable of locating license plates within vehicle images and recognizing the corresponding characters. It provides practical experience across object detection, OCR, and end-to-end computer vision pipelines.

New Models on AIOZ AI

June introduced new models across reasoning, coding, and image-generation workflows.

QwQ-32B is a reasoning-focused model designed for complex problem solving and logic-heavy tasks. It supports long-context processing and multi-step reasoning workflows.

Phi-4 brings advanced reasoning capabilities within a compact language model architecture. It expands the range of language models available for developers evaluating smaller-scale deployments.

Qwen3-Coder-Next is an open-weight coding model for agentic software workflows, supporting 358 programming languages, long-context repository understanding, browser-assisted task solving, and integration with coding environments.

Z-Image-Turbo is a bilingual image generation model optimized for fast, text-rich visual creation. Supporting both Chinese and English text rendering within photorealistic images, it is designed for workflows where image quality and text accuracy are equally important.

What’s Next

June highlighted the continued evolution of AIOZ AI, from platform infrastructure and research initiatives to community challenges and model availability. As AIOZ AI enters its V2 stage and research efforts continue to expand, AIOZ Network remains focused on building a more capable and practical AI ecosystem on DePIN.
